Business Developer & Closer USA (F/M)

Own our U.S. growth, build your pipeline, develop strategic relationships, and close premium deals.

United States, preferably New York City-based. Remote work with in-person business development opportunities.Independent contractor.

Emy Kae is a premium sales, influence, and neuromarketing brand that has worked with over 250 clients since 2019.

We've built our foundation in the French-speaking market. Now, we're bringing our expertise to the United States.

We're looking for a true A-Player who knows how to build relationships, create business opportunities, and turn conversations into revenue.

This isn't a role where you sit back and wait for leads. It's an opportunity to help build our U.S. presence from the ground up.

The role

You'll own Emy Kae's U.S. business development efforts, from prospect identification to closed deals.

You'll build strategic relationships, develop partnerships, and identify speaking opportunities, conferences, and events that can expand our reach.

You'll combine digital prospecting, in-person networking, and premium sales to drive measurable business growth.

What you'll do

  • Identify and prospect entrepreneurs, founders, executives, and businesses that could benefit from Emy Kae's expertise and premium offers.
  • Build your own pipeline through LinkedIn, professional communities, direct outreach, networking, and other relevant channels.
  • Manage inbound opportunities when available without relying on a constant flow of company-provided leads.
  • Qualify prospects, schedule and conduct sales calls, handle negotiations, and close deals.
  • Build strategic relationships with entrepreneurs, business communities, potential partners, and event organizers.
  • Identify speaking engagements, conferences, podcasts, panels, and professional events that align with Emy Kae's positioning.
  • Attend networking events and meet potential clients or partners in person, particularly in New York City when feasible.
  • Manage follow-ups, maintain accurate CRM records, and track opportunities through Go High Level.
  • Analyze performance, share market insights, and proactively recommend initiatives to accelerate our U.S. expansion.

Who we're looking for

  • You have excellent professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • You have demonstrated success in prospecting, business development, or sales and can back it up with real results.
  • You understand the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to signed agreement.
  • You know how to build relationships, develop a network, and create opportunities without waiting for a full calendar of booked calls.
  • You're independent, organized, persistent, and capable of representing a premium brand with confidence and professionalism.
  • You're comfortable using digital sales tools and CRM platforms. Experience with Go High Level is a plus.
  • You have an A-Player mindset: high standards, ownership, strong execution, ambition, and a genuine desire to improve.

Nice to have

  • You're based in New York City or familiar with its entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • You already have connections within entrepreneurship, business events, professional communities, or relevant industries.
  • You've previously helped expand a business, enter a new market, or build a client portfolio.
  • You have experience selling premium services, professional education, or B2B solutions.

This role is not for you if

  • You're only interested in taking pre-booked sales calls.
  • You don't enjoy prospecting, building relationships, or actively seeking new opportunities.
  • You need constant direction before taking action.
  • You rely on aggressive sales tactics instead of trust, communication, and long-term relationships.
  • You're looking for a purely transactional role with no interest in business strategy, market development, or future leadership opportunities.

Career growth

We're looking for someone who can grow alongside our ambitions.

If the collaboration proves successful and your results meet expectations, you may have the opportunity to support business development for a second company within our entrepreneurial ventures.

Over time, there may also be an opportunity to grow into a Head of Sales position.

That role could involve building sales processes, recruiting and leading a team, and transitioning to a compensation structure combining base pay and performance incentives.

These opportunities are not guaranteed and will depend on performance, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and evolving business needs.

After you apply

Complete the application form and share your experience, results, and approach to business development.

After reviewing your application, we'll schedule an interview followed by a live closing role-play to assess your sales skills.

Every applicant will receive a response, regardless of the outcome.
